About Tri Star

Our kindergarten through 11th-grade virtual education prepares your child to adapt and be ready for his or her future. Our virtual classrooms provide flexibility and opportunity to learn from highly qualified teachers using a rigorous curriculum. Traditional brick-and-mortar schools don’t work for every student all the time.

Tri Star provides a strong alternative to traditional education that supports your students in their own time and in their way. Free, home-based learning is finally a mainstay for Tennessee learners!

We serve advanced learners who are seeking learning options outside of a traditional classroom. Their reasons vary. Some pursue a passion requiring extensive travel or long hours of practice, such as athletes and performers. Others have been victims of bullying or have medical issues that make attending a traditional school impossible. Children of those who are serving our country may benefit from the flexibility and continuity Tri Star offers.

Our curriculum is geared toward the full spectrum of students: those who want to be academically challenged and prepared for higher learning and those looking for the fastest track to industry certifications and well-paying jobs. Our learning activities and mapped pathways are geared toward college and career preparation so students are ready for their next educational challenge upon graduation.

Additionally, our Academic teams actively participate in curriculum development to boost student engagement. With the team’s input, the curriculum is tweaked to meet specific needs and give students a voice in how they learn best.

Student Success

Like many traditional brick-and-mortar schools, most online schools are “one size fits all.” That’s why we built our schools to be unique and individualized! We know that each student is unique and needs personalized attention to be successful. We are committed to delivering a customized educational experience to each and every student.

Education with a Destination

ENROLLMENT    →  ORIENTATION     →   ONLINE EDUCATION   →   GRADUATION

From enrollment through graduation, we are here for your child to create seamless transitions. Our academic programs are modeled as “education with destination,” which means that our curriculum can be adjusted to meet the unique skills, values, and interests of your child. For example, our unique three-week enrollment process was built to ensure a smooth transition for your student and your family. Once your student gets started, our expert academic teams will use multiple data points and metrics to track your child’s progress. Working closely with you, the parent, your child will have an individualized support system that meets their individual needs and supports their future goals.

As graduation nears, your student’s learning team will foster his or her future plans through mock interviews, career and college planning, workshops, resume writing and review, and more. The bottom line is we want your child to find lifelong success after graduation!
